Pub quiz in Italian: 10 phrases for tonight
Teams of four to six answer rounds of questions over drinks. Solo players are almost always welcome to join a team with a free seat, so asking to join is the key move.
Register: Informal (friendly). At a pub quiz in Italy "tu" is normal with people under about 50. "Lei" is safer with much older people or staff, but you rarely need it here.
How to read the sounds: Italian is spoken as written. Double consonants (tt, ll, zz) are held longer. c before e/i = ch, g before e/i = j, gn = ny, gli = ly, sc before e/i = sh. Stress is in CAPITALS.
